Proteqta

Privacy Policy

How Proteqta collects, uses, and protects your information. Last updated: October 2026.

1. Who We Are

This policy covers getproteqta.com and the Proteqta Payout Backstop service, operated by Proteqta, based in Dubai, UAE. It explains what information we collect when you use our site or add a backstop, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you give us directly — your name, email, and contact details when you add a backstop, submit a reimbursement request, or contact support; and the account or challenge details needed to verify a request with the relevant prop firm. We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and how you interact with our site, through cookies and similar tools (see Section 4). To confirm identity and prevent duplicate accounts and fraud, we may also collect identity verification details (such as a government ID and a selfie check), payment details, and device and network information. We never ask for your prop-firm trading passwords or platform login credentials.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to set up and manage your backstop, verify and process reimbursement requests, respond to support requests, send service-related updates, verify your identity, detect and prevent fraud and duplicate accounts, and — only if you opt in — product news and offers. We also use aggregated, non-identifying data to understand how our site is used and to improve it. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to keep the site working (like remembering your session), and — only with your consent — analytics cookies to understand site usage and marketing cookies to measure campaign performance. You can review or change what you've allowed at any time via Cookie Settings in the site footer.

5. Sharing Your Information

We share the minimum information necessary with the prop firm named in your request, solely to verify a denial or block, and with service providers who help us operate — payment processing, email delivery, hosting, and analytics — under confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law, such as to comply with a valid legal request. We do not share your information for third-party advertising purposes.

6. Data Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and other reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data protected and to limit access to what's needed to provide the service.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain uses of it. You can also opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@getproteqta.com.

8. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve a request, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and enforce our agreements — after which it's deleted or anonymized.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date above shows when this page was last revised.
